Corrections and Omissions - 20th Century Fareham

This website was created as a college project some time ago. While occasional updates are made, they are not frequent.

If you've noticed anything that's missing or not right, please provide the details below.

Unfortunately there are some parts of Fareham's history where I have several different people providing completely different versions of the same history. I have used a combination of photographs, books, the Hampshire Records Office and Edina maps archive to try to determine what's right, and where it's still too unclear I usually have to leave it out. Memories can play tricks on all of us.

Despite the impression that line may give you, I do appreciate your feedback and even contradictory reports can be helpful as they help you weigh up the evidence.
